Over the past millennium, Suzhou has presented its understanding of life, society and the world through artistic languages such as literature, painting, arts and crafts, and theatrical performance, driving the shaping and dissemination of the cultural image of China and even of the broader East. Today, we come together with Picasso in Suzhou to present two sections: Picasso: A Century of Visual Reconstruction and Picasso after Picasso: The Infinite Echo of a Master. Together, they outline an art history drawn from Picasso, celebrating the grand opening of the Museum and perpetuating the ongoing contribution to the cultural legacy of this city.
