""A History of the Reverend Hugh Peters"" is a biographical account of the life and career of Hugh Peters, written by Samuel Peters and originally published in 1807. The book traces Peters' early years in England, his education at Cambridge, and his eventual move to America, where he became a prominent figure in both religious and political circles. Peters played a key role in the English Civil War, serving as a chaplain to Oliver Cromwell and advocating for the execution of King Charles I. He later moved to America, where he became involved in the founding of several colonies and played a significant role in the early history of Massachusetts. The book provides a detailed account of Peters' life, including his religious beliefs, political views, and personal relationships. It also offers insights into the broader historical context of the period, including the English Civil War, the Puritan movement, and the early colonization of America. Overall, ""A History of the Reverend Hugh Peters"" is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of religion, politics, and culture in the seventeenth century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
